Due to rising demand for our taxi and airport transfer services, we are always on the lookout for courteous, reliable and trustworthy drivers to join the RoadRunners Heathrow team. As a RoadRunners driver, you will be responsible for collecting passengers and then ensuring they reach their destination in a professional manner. RoadRunners Heathrow can offer a great rate of pay, flexible hours and the chance to be part of a successful team. We can provide you with a vehicle, insurance and a uniform, which is presented free of charge.

Being a driver

As we operate a GREEN fleet at RoadRunners Heathrow, we require all of our vehicles to fit into this category. This means we can offer the following options to new drivers at the company:

You can lease a BRAND NEW VEHICLE from us. This is charged on a weekly basis and by leasing a vehicle you will have no worries or concerns about maintaining the vehicle. The vehicle will also come with everything you require to be a driver for RoadRunners Heathrow. This includes a datahead which is how you receive work from us, a radio to enable communication with staff at our office, a fully comprehensive insurance cover (including public liability) and we offer full training on all of the equipment contained in the vehicle.

You can buy a BRAND NEW Skoda Octavia, Seat Alhambra or a Toyota Prius_ directly from us. These are reliable cars and are extensively used across the RoadRunners company. These vehicles have GREEN credentials and have a high level of MPG rates. It is possible to finance these vehicles through RoadRunners and the level of monthly payments will depend on the level of deposit made. In most circumstances, the vehicle can be financed over a period of 1, 2 or 3 years. Unlike finance facilities offered by many retailers, no matter how long you decide to finance your vehicle, you’ll find that the payments are the same.

You can also choose to licence your own vehicle with the local council but if you do, your car must have GREEN credentials. As this will be your car, you will be responsible for the cost and upkeep of the vehicle and we will require all of the documentation for the vehicle, including a copy of the licence, your Hire and Reward certificate, your MOT certificate and If you have any questions or queries about driving for RoadRunners Heathrow, please get in touch and we will be happy to offer advice and guidance. Office Opportunities

In addition to offering a number of driving opportunities, we are looking to hire staff to work within in our administration centre, as part of our operations team and in our modern workshop facility.

Administrative Opportunities

We are looking to hire administrative assistances in order to assist with accounting and clerical duties. Our administrative team help keep our financial and corporate business running smoothly at all times and as such, our administrative opportunities require a wide range of roles to be completed. Some of the tasks include creating invoices, credit control and filing data received from drivers. Given the wide range of tasks and roles, we may have a position that suits your skills and needs, so please get in touch.

Operations Opportunities

This is a vital part of our business and we rely heavily on the skills and expertise of our operations staff. The first role in this department is working as a telephonist, taking bookings over the phone, which is clearly a major role for RoadRunners Heathrow. We provide all the training you need to carry out this role and when you have completed your training, there will be opportunities to progress throughout the company. The role of controller is the natural progression for many of our telephone operators, and this is a position which offers team leader responsibilities alongside other key responsibilities.

Mechanic Opportunities

Our fully equipped workshop carries responsibility for the maintenance and servicing of our vehicles and tasks range from changing lightbulbs to replacing engines. We operate 24 hours a day, 7 days a week to ensure that all of our vehicles and drivers are fully supported.
